Surf Forecast Brief Outlook: FRIDAY - SSW groundswell continues but slightly eases while mixing with some minor, short period NW windswell. Surf is a little slow/inconsistent overall, especially around, the 11am high tide, but sets at good spots still hit waist high. Best summer breaks are up to chest-shoulder high range on sets on the right tides. WEATHER/WIND - Light NW winds for the morning, picking up from the WNW into the afternoon to around 7-14kts. This is a Premium feature. Worst Bet: 11am high tide slows many breaks down around that time. Fun size SSW swell on tap through the weekend with minor NW windswell mixing in. SURF FORECAST Small scale mix of slow rising short period NW windswell and some long period SSW groundswell on Thursday set up mainly knee-waist-chest high waves at the better exposures, while top breaks saw shoulder high sets. The Bay area had onshore flow and sloppy conditions for most of the day, as regions further south were cleaner.
