Marin County Surf Report & Forecast

Surf Forecast Brief Outlook: TUESDAY: NW windswell offers jumbled broken up chest-head high+ waves for the well exposed windswell breaks in the morning. Meanwhile, fun size SW-SSW groundswell will also offer waist-chest-head high to occasional overhead sets for the standout Southern Hemi spots of the region. Larger windswell waves in the afternoon/evening. WEATHER/WIND: Steady, moderate to breezy NW-WNW winds all day. Worst Bet: NW-WNW wind exposed spots. Plenty of waves over the next several days with a mix of NW windswell and SW-SSW groundswell. Plus a pulse of WNW groundswell lines up for later in the week as well. However, conditions will be an issue. Check the full premium forecast for more details.
SURF FORECAST A mix of NW windswell and SW groundswell delivered plenty of waves for the region on Monday. The better windswell exposures offered chunky broken up surf mainly in the waist-head high zone, with some overhead waves/peaks popping up at the standout spots. Unfortunately, onshore flow also prevailed for these well exposed areas. Meanwhile, exposures to the Southern Hemi had 3-4' SW sets along with occasional head high+ waves at the standout summer breaks (strongest overall in Marin). Furthermore, these more southerly facing areas had cleaner conditions.
