SF-San Mateo County Surf Report & Forecast

Surf Forecast Brief Outlook: FRIDAY - NW windswell peaks as SSW groundswell continues. Good spots are in the waist-head high range, while standout windswell breaks hit overhead on sets. WEATHER/WIND - 5-10kt onshore winds through the morning, lightest early. Westerly flow around 10-15kts prevails in the afternoon. This is a Premium feature. Worst Bet: Expecting clean conditions with onshore wind and surface texture for most breaks throughout the day. SSW groundswell and short period NW windswell mix continues into the weekend. Check the full premium forecast below for more details!
SURF FORECAST Small scale mix of slow rising short period NW windswell and some long period SSW groundswell on Thursday set up mainly knee-waist-chest high waves at the better exposures, while top breaks saw shoulder high sets. The Bay area had onshore flow and sloppy conditions for most of the day, as regions further south were cleaner.
