South Orange County Surf Report & Forecast

Surf Forecast Brief Outlook: THURSDAY: New/primary South-SSE Lowell swell quickly builds in over the morning and tops out in the afternoon. Meanwhile, the old/easing blend of South-SW Southern Hemi swells and minimal NW windswell will mix in. Standout south exposed spots will already start out with waist-chest high+ sets in the morning, which will pick up into the chest-head high occasional overhead zone into the afternoon. NOTE - Due to the steep angle of the Lowell swell, some of the energy will bypass many spots through South OC. WEATHER/WIND: Calm to very light/variable wind in the early to mid morning, along with a marine layer. Then moderate SW veering Westerly wind gradually rises up over the mid to late morning and into the afternoon, as skies become mostly clear/sunny.
