Acapulco Area Surf Report & Forecast

Surf Forecast Brief Outlook: SATURDAY: SW-SSW swell with head+ high to 3'+ overhead surf and and double overhead sets at well exposed breaks. SUNDAY: SW-SSW swell holds for head high to 3' overhead surf and plus sets at well exposed breaks. WEATHER/WIND: Generally calm to light/variable to light offshore wind for the early mornings, with a moderate SW'erly seabreeze gradually developing over the later part of the morning and into each afternoon. Chance for evening glassoff for many areas before dark. NOTE - Passing or nearby showers and thunderstorms can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions. A good dose of SW-SSW swell continues into early next week. Meanwhile, a tropical system is forecast to develop just offshore from Southern Mexico early next week, then possibly tracking closer to shore. Check the full premium forecast for more details.
SURF FORECAST Healthy SW-SSW Southern Hemi swell put lots of spots in head high to easily overhead waves on Friday, while better breaks were hitting double overhead and standouts like Puerto Escondido had sets in the double-triple+ overhead zone. NOTE - Some of the more tucked away right points of Southern MX had smaller surf, as the swell expends energy to get in.
