Acapulco Area Surf Report & Forecast

Surf Forecast Brief Outlook: A new SSW swell will build in through Saturday and top out late, holding through Sunday. Look for waist-head high surf on Saturday morning at the better exposed breaks, which will pick up through the day with overhead sets in the afternoon (biggest late). On Sunday, standout spots will produce head high to 2-3 feet overhead sets. Select magnets will even see some waves/peaks up to double overhead during the more favorable tides. This energy will then slowly ease over Monday and into Tuesday. Look for calm to very light/variable to locally light-moderate offshore wind for the early to mid mornings (depending on the specific spot), before a moderate onshore seabreeze gradually develops over the late morning hours and into each afternoon. Good chance for the wind to back off some into the evenings for a glassoff for many locations before dark, especially the more sheltered/tucked away spots. Most of the region will see partly cloudy/sunny skies each day. However, there will be occasional passing showers and T-storms scattered about. Keep in mind that passing or nearby showers and thunderstorms can temporarily affect/change local wind conditions.Check the premium forecast for the extended outlook!
